Police: Masked trio robs home of medical pot grow as kids watch | Crime

At around 8:30 am, on October 28, 2009, a father of three said he heard somebody beating on his front door saying that his girlfriend had just sideswiped their vehicle.
The father answered the door and three masked men entered the home, at least one was armed with a handgun. The father's 12-year-old daughter and twin 2-year-old boys were locked in a closet. According to the victim, it took them at least an hour to get free after being tied up.
There was a medical marijuana grow at the home. The adult male victim told police this was the first marijuana grow he had harvested. The victim said the suspects ransacked the house, demanded money, and took about a pound and a half of marijuana.
How many plants were involved has not been specified.
At one point during the robbery, the 12-year-old girl saw her father on the floor while one of the suspects held a gun to his head. Nobody was hurt during the robbery, but the kids and father were very shaken up.
The robbery took place in Oregon City. Detectives are working on the case and following up on leads.
The suspects are identified as three black male adults in their 20s. One of the suspects was described as a light-skinned black male.
There is no vehicle information associated with the crime.
