I’m just your average guy trying to make his way through this ever-changing world, and hopefully sharing people’s stories along the way.

My wife, Crystal, and I moved to Portland in the summer of 2008. We’re basically still newlyweds, so the whole experience here in the Northwest is one of new beginnings for us. Even though we’re fish-out-of-water Southern transplants, it’s exciting to think about what the future holds for us and our dog, Kahlua.

I’m what they call a TV News dork. I love news and technology and finding ways both can work together. I received degrees in each way back before “Facebook,” “Twitter” or “There’s an app for that” were common words/phrases. 

We enjoy exploring the area when we’re not working. Lately we’ve been tour guides for family and friends visiting us to see the Pacific Northwest, an area many in our circles have never seen.
